Tahitian perliculture presentation - now online

Based on my 2006 trip to Tahiti and a remote atoll in the Tuamotus Archipelago, I have created a presentation of text and photographs, showing the perliculture processes I observed.

It describes, in an easy-to-follow format, the processes from collecting the baby oysters in the lagoon through to the sales to the customer. The aim is to provide an overview while giving some idea of the complexity and costs involved in bringing pearls to the marketplace.

See the Table of Contents.

If you would like to see the presentation, please email me using the link below to get the link.

The cost was $10 (AUD) per copy, but I now request a small voluntary donation to cover my costs and effort.

Payment may be made via PayPal invoice for overseas people, or direct deposit is available for people within Australia. We will confirm payment details with you at the time of shipment.
