Petals ring white Freshwater

ON SHOW WILL BE the first two examples of our new, original and handcrafted "Petals" range of pearl jewellery.

Petals is an organic design, based around the pearls themselves. We currently have these two rings completed, with more pieces on the way.

We're very excited about this, as it's a new artistic direction for us that is finally taking shape.

See our catalogue for the items on sale in the Manningham Gallery. (If this link to the catalogue doesn't work, please email me and I'll send you the PDF.)

Tip for caring for pearl jewellery

Something you may not know is that pearls are usually fixed into place on pieces of jewellery using water-soluble glue. This is so that if any repairs or adjustments need to be made to the piece, the pearl can be safely removed before the work is started. (Super glue would make this impossible and may cause irreparable damage to the pearl.)

Of course, what this means for you as the wearer is that you should minimise the contact of your pearl jewellery with hot water which may weaken the glue that is holding your precious pearl in place.
